Meet Gab

Gab isn’t just a music therapist (MT-BC)—she’s a music lover who believes in the power of a good song to change your mood, motivate you, and even help you heal. Originally from St. Louis, she made Memphis her home in 2021. She earned her degree in Music Therapy from Drury University, a minor in psychology and a certificate in holistic health & well-being. Since 2022, she’s been using music to help people grow, express themselves, and work through life’s challenges at The STAR Center, Inc.

How She Can Help

Gab makes therapy interactive, creative, and, most of all, personal. Music therapy is all about using music—not just to make songs, but to help with real-life struggles. Whether it’s stress, emotions, or tough situations, she’ll incorporate your favorite music into sessions to help you open up, feel more confident, and reach your goals.

She takes a person-centered and holistic approach, which means you get to help shape your therapy experience. Gab believes therapy is about growth, not perfection, and she’ll support you in a way that fits your needs. She also uses the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) approach when exploring song lyrics and emotions, helping you focus on what truly matters. Most importantly, Gab creates a space where you can be 100% yourself—no pressure, no judgment.

In Her Free Time

When she’s not helping people through music, Gab is out exploring Memphis! She loves hitting up coffee shops, thrifting for cool finds, diving into a good book, and crocheting. She’s always down to try new local restaurants and spend time with friends. If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and brings creativity into every session, Gab’s got you! 🎵✨
