Meet Jamil

Hi, I’m Jamil a licensed clinical social worker in the states of TN, MS, and AR. I am originally from Nashville, TN but moved to Memphis and really grew up. I obtained my first degree from the University of Memphis in Sports Management. I love sports and what it does to bring people together. I later went to work in the area of helping children and families about 15 years ago. I went back to college and received a master's degree in social work from the University of Memphis in 2017. I have worked in many different places throughout my time in social work. 

How He Can Help

I am a solution-focused therapist who enjoys helping people especially youth realize their goals and dreams. I have a unique way of working with young people to identify their dreams and their motivation to reach them. I help youth learn to heal and cope with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I help bridge gaps in teenage life to the real world. 

In His Free Time

I am an avid sports fan, and Most Definitely a fan of all the home teams. Go Grizz!! I also really enjoy live music and experiencing the culture of the city.
