Meet Wendi

Wendi is a native Memphian and a graduate of Ridgeway High School. She is an avid sports fan and received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Memphis. Wendi has a special talent for connecting with and empowering youth. Her previous therapeutic endeavors and settings have included schools, camps, and law offices, among others to meet the needs of the community at large. 

How She Can Help

Her approach to counseling is very individualized – you are the expert on your life, and she views her role as being with you to help you make change happen. She is here to meet you where you are and help you identify and achieve goals to help improve your mental and emotional well-being. Wendi finds her joy in helping youth navigate their way through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma through utilizing expressive arts approaches. 

In Her Free Time

When she is not seeing clients, you can usually find her at home playing with her dogs and having a picnic outside with her children. Wendi has a creative brain that she puts to good use testing out new recipes in the kitchen and creating fun messes doing DIY projects around the house.
